Universal Morals are Timeless

Stories from the past can carry useful morals for the present. As a rule people should never allow the age of a moral proposition to interfere with the validity of the proposition’s content. Whether it was written two thousand years ago, or yesterday, it will still be correct, or incorrect if it has any value at all.
